For now, this is sort of a journal. I'm incorporating some interesting "events" in my day-to-day living, but for the most part, you won't find much that's spectacular to look at here.
Welcome back! Today I have a quick tutorial for you. I got quite a few
e-mails with questions about the gift card holder I posted on Flashback
Friday, so I thought I'd show you how I made it. Here is the finished
project that I will walk you through.
. How fun and full of summer is this card??? It looks very complicated
- so before you throw in the towel WATCH MY VIDEO!!!! I figured out a
way to show you how to make this Cascading Card without any fuss!!! .
.
Click on the Video to see how easy peasy this card is to make!
Watch the video for the dimensions and scoring instructions.

Here's a template for my custom envelope. Watch for a video on
making your own custom envelope for the cards that don't quite fit in a
standard A2 envelope soon!
I recently posted this fun card
using the NEW Label Thinlits from Stampin’ Up! I figured out a fun and
easy way to add the DSP to the back panel (and yes….you can just change
the size and use it for the top panel!) and I thought it would be fun
to make a video to show this technique. On the video the technique is shown on the first couple of minutes
but then if you continue on…you will see how I made the whole card. At
the very end I give a supply list will all the sizes of everything you
need…easy to get everything you need right there.
